Nearly 300,000 Australians are at risk of liver cancer from hepatitis B and hepatitis C and many don’t even know it. A simple blood test can change that.

On 28 July, World Hepatitis Day, Hepatitis SA is calling on people to Take the Next Step. It is a reminder to get moving, to seek out testing, treatment and care.

During the WHD campaign, Hepatitis SA will be holding free events to raise awareness including:

Online information sessions

Online information sessions on the ABCs of Hepatitis. These sessions are free and open to all:

  • Friday 24 July, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
  • Tuesday 28 July, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
  • Thursday 4 Aug, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

Free drop-in liver scan clinics in shopping centres

Run in partnership with Relationships Australia, clinics will be held at:

  • Arndale Shopping Centre (outside BigW)

  • Munno Para Shopping Centre (outside Kmart)
    600 Main North Rd,

Hepatitis C Testing clinics
