We know too much sugar and fat puts a burden on our liver, and is bad for our health in general.

So wouldn't it be wonderful to enjoy a bowl of warm, creamy soup without feeling guilty about the fat; bite into a muffin without worrying about the sugar, and the gluten if you're gluten-intolerant?

Over the years Chris Lim had, out of necessity, searched for and found alternate healthier ways to make those rich, delicious foods which we love but feel guilty about eating.

On 28 July, World Hepatitis Day, Chris will be sharing her recipes and giving a demonstration on how to make some of these alternatives. She will challenge you with taste-tests and share her experience of finding healthier options for her family.

A Hepatitis SA educator will also be on hand to talk about food and liver health, as well as answer questions about  hepatitis B and C prevention and treatments. There will also be a free lucky draw for a petite healthy food hamper.

Chris' Quirky Delights is a FREE Eat Well for Liver Health event organised by Hepatitis SA in partnership with the Adelaide City Council City Libraries.
